AltFinance is building and expanding pathways for HBCU students to careers in alternative investment management.

Students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities exploring a future in finance should have clear pathways and guidance available to help turn their ambition and potential into a rewarding career.

Education

We introduce HBCU students to the alternative investment industry through information sessions, speakers, and foundational curriculum to supplement academics

exposure

We provide high-performing students with additional exposure to industry-specific training and access to networks of professional and academic leaders

experience

We coordinate experience-building opportunities including mock interviews, case study presentations, office tours, and investment site visits with partner organizations in the alternatives industry

Fellowship

The AltFinance Fellowship provides ambitious students at select partner HBCU schools with finance and alternative investment education, one-on-one professional mentorship, scholarship funding to pursue professional and academic goals, and access to internships and full-time jobs at alternative investment firms.

The AltFinance Institute is a partnership with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania that provides a best-in-class virtual platform available for all HBCU students with academic coursework, experiential programming and community-building opportunities that seek to broaden exposure to and increase representation in the alternative investment industry.
